College of Optometry. While at the University of
Houston, Dr. Piccolo held posts as the Director of the Contact Lens Services, Chief of
Primary Care Services and Coordinator of Ophthalmology Services.
Dr. Piccolo is currently an Associate
Professor, Associate Director of the Excimer Laser Laboratory and Chair of the Department
of Clinical Sciences at the University of Houston College of Optometry. He is
certified as a Therapeutic Optometrist and his interests include contact lens practice,
diagnosis and management of ocular disease and laser and other refractive procedures.
In addition, Dr. Piccolo is the Immediate Past President of the Texas Optometric
Association. Dr. Piccolo was honored in 1991 by being named the "Young
Optometrist of the Year" and in 1999 by being named the "Optometrist of
the Year" by the Texas Optometric Association. He is also a member of the
American Optometric Association and a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Piccolo maintains a private practice in Houston,
Texas. |

Gwynn Piccolo
Gwynn received her BA from the University of
Houston in 1983 and her CPA in 1987. Prior to owning Eye Contact,
Gwynn worked at Arthur Andersen. She also served as the Assistant
Controller at Harris County Hospital District and Trust Administrator for
Rice Trust Inc.
Marc and Gwynn have three children ages 14,
12 and 10. She enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her
family.

Marty Creelman
Marty has been with Eye Contact for about four years now.
She specializes in contact lenses. "I'm the power house of energy at the
River Oaks store!"

Steve Tran
Steve is the lab technician here at Eye contact. He has had optical
experience at an early age with his family in Vietnam. He received further education at
NDC, an optical school, where he graduated.
Steve joined the Eye Contact team in August of 1998. Prior to
that, Steve served as technical district manager for Eye Masters. |
